How AI task credits work

A credit allowance is a budget for AI work, not a fixed number of websites or messages. Usage depends on the task, selected models, implementation steps and any enabled remote execution. Set a maximum task budget before submitting a request and follow usage in your workspace.

Planning, implementation and review can use different models. A focused change usually needs a different budget from a larger application. Compare the build levels and workflow before choosing how to run a task.

What happens if a task fails or I stop it?

Platform-failed tasks and tasks that need a billing review are handled without charging the user for the failed request. Stopping a running task yourself is different: verified work already performed can be charged, and unused reserved credits are released. Check the task’s final usage record for its outcome.

What happens when my credits run out?

New AI work needs an available allowance. Paid plans can offer optional extra credit packs when configured. Buying extra credits is a separate purchase; reaching a task budget does not authorize an automatic usage charge.

How do I manage a subscription?

Open Settings, then Billing to see the available plans, current allowance and subscription status. When a payment account exists, its Paddle customer portal lets you manage payment details, invoices and cancellation. Check the displayed renewal or end date when making a change.
